When operating into and out of Kingsmuir Airfield please:

Speak to Leauchars zone on 126.500 in the area to avoid overflying local churches on Sunday mornings.

Make info calls on Safetycom 135.480 joining/departing/when in the circuit. Circuit direction is either way at 800' but try and minimise circuits if possible.

Make overhead joins or join downwind (so model flyers can get clear). Try and avoid landing/taxiing on the model flyers' runway at the 06 threshold.

Kingsmuir Airfield accepts genuine emergency and precautionary diversions without charge per CAA CAP 667 9.2 (c) recommendations.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse offers tea and coffee making facilities.

Camping

We welcome camping at a charge of £10 per night. This includes use of the Clubhouse kitchen and bathroom facilities which includes a shower.

There are bed and breakfasts and hotels in the nearby East Neuk of Fife and St. Andrews which is a short 15 minute drive away.  

Golf

St. Andrews is famous for being the Home of Golf and tee times can be booked in advance for pilots wishing to land and play a round on one of the many courses.
